Geography Olympics

 

Geography Olympics is a competition dedicated to pupils of primary schools and students of the secondary grammar schools who are keen on geography. There are nine categories in which the participants can compete. Four rounds are organized within the competition: school, local, regional, and national. The winners of the national level for the secondary school students participate within the International Geography Olympics (IGEO) and the winners of amongst the pupils of the primary schools compete in the National Geographic World Championship (NGWC).


The Institute of Geography has established the regional commission of the Geographic Olympics for the Košice region.
